This Armed Forces Week, Walking With The Wounded are showing our continued support of our Armed Forces by engaging with communities across the UK to attend parades, local gatherings, sporting events and more.

You can view a full list of events and locations that may have Walking With The Wounded attendance.

What is Armed Forces Week?

A national campaign to build public understanding and support for the Armed Forces community – regulars, reserves, veterans, cadets, cadet adult volunteers and miliary families.

This year, various events will take place between 22 – 27 June 2026 and are a chance to thank the military community for what they do.

What is Armed Forces Day?

Armed Forces Day (27 June) features a national event – this year hosted by Rushmoor Borough Council in Aldershot and Farnborough – and provides an end to the weeks events.

What is Reserves Day?

The Reserve Forces make up approximately one sixth of the UK military, with more than 37,000 reservists give up their spare time to serve.

Reserves Day falls on the 24 June 2026 and highlights the skills reservists can bring to civilian employment and encourages businesses to support by signing the Armed Forces Covenant and joining the Employer Recognition Scheme.
