Zero Tolerance Statement
Walking With The Wounded are committed to the creation of a culture and work environment, where staff may undertake their duties of supporting those who have served without fear of abuse or violence or harassment and in which staff, volunteers, service users, therapists, and members of the public are treated with dignity and respect.
Any form of threatening, abusive or discriminatory behaviour will be taken seriously at WWTW. To ensure this is fully observed we operate a Zero Tolerance approach to any behaviour intended to violate the dignity of others, whereby threatening, abusive or discriminatory behaviour towards others will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
WWTW reserves the right to cease support for an individual with immediate effect in order to safeguard our staff, volunteers, other service users or therapists. Should this occur, we will notify the perpetrator in writing of their removal of support.
Anyone demonstrating such behaviour will be asked to stop or contacted by WWTW stating that this behaviour will not be tolerated.
Should you witness or experience violence, discrimination or harassment happening, please speak up immediately, you can do so in confidence by emailing complaints@wwtw.org.uk.
